CDEC and Warwickshire ICT would like to invite you to our Education Focused Technology Showcase day on Thursday 7th June at the Village Hotel in Coventry. The event is designed to showcase the most innovative classroom technologies from leading brands as well as introducing thought provoking speakers covering topics ranging from additional income generation to online safety and how to create the ultimate lesson. The full list of speakers is below.
We have 17 vendors with us showcasing the latest classroom and hall solutions for your school. We will also have some fantastic prizes on offer – all schools that attend will automatically be entered into the prize draw with a staggering £5,000 of prizes up for grabs.

10.10 – Ashley Helm The Ultimate Lesson

Ashley brings with him 18 years of experience in the education market, advising local authorities, schools and multi academy trusts in how best to utilise new and existing technology in the classroom. Ashley now heads up the Education team at Clevertouch, which is made up of a number of former teachers and trainers from secondary and primary based environments. Ashley and his team can be utilised to make the most out of the technology your schools use.

13.00 Helen Kenniff – Future-proofing school communications in the digital world

Helen is Product Marketing Manager for the Sedao range and with over 20 years’ in marketing communications globally, is experienced in supporting the education  sector in transitioning to new technologies. Helen will discuss how deploying complete integrated solutions, including static and interactive dynamic digital signage displays and in-room interactive displays, can future-proof digital communications in your school across public, learning and staff environments.

14.00 Katie Hart – Getting digitally messy with Purple Mash

Did you know that all WeLearn Primary and Special schools have access to the award winning Purple Mash resources? Join Katie from 2Simple on a whistle stop tour where we’ll explore coding, email, blogging, painting, publishing, topic based writing and so much more. Everyone is welcome whether you’re a master masher or exploring Purple Mash for the very first time.

15.00 Justin Smith – Income Generation – Innovative ways to fund your projects

Justin is Managing Director of Chameleon Training and Consultancy, designed to provide specialist marketing, income generation and bid writing services to the education sector. Justin is a vastly experienced bid writer with a strong track record in raising funds for schools via conventional trust funds, grants and sponsorships. To date Justin has raised over £3 million in additional income for schools and is a member of the Institute of Fundraising.
