This can include troubleshooting, meeting support and managing room setup. Proactive AV maintenance also means that potential issues can be identified and resolved before they arise.

Providing full coverage of your networked AV equipment, the Remote Monitoring team oversees the availability and performance of each installation, correlating any failures and working proactively with on-site teams to resolve issues before they impact customers.
Managed Service Desk
Our AV specialist desk able to take customer calls as well as escalations from on-site team members. All of our Service Desk processes are aligned with our ITILv3 operating model, and team members possess a variety of specialisms from control systems, projection and sound reinforcement through to Mac/PC presentation troubleshooting and Wi-Fi configuration. In addition to troubleshooting and remote support, Service Desk can manage scheduling for Field Engineer visits, lecture recordings and provide advice and guidance to customers.
Capture and Record
CDEC are offering, through Capture and Record, a range of services targeted at major events (corporate keynotes, interviews, graduations, inaugural lectures and conferences) requiring live streaming, recording, editing and production. Our in-house team are equipped for multi-camera shoots with vision mixing and high quality online streaming.
On-site Field Engineers
Working alone or alongside your own technicians, our Field Engineers have substantial experience across the corporate and education sectors and provide friendly, confident and rapid technical support in the classroom or boardroom. Field Engineers are able to work on scheduled maintenance contracts, proactive repairs or upgrades and incident quick response.
Asset Tracking and Configuration Management
Asset tracking maintains a complete inventory of your AV estate, from the make, model and serial number to the configuration, software and connections on each device. Incidents recorded by the Service Desk or Field Engineers are logged against individual assets providing a more complete picture for our trend analysis and problem management teams. Alongside this function, our regular configuration management process ensures that your AV equipment is up to date with the latest firmware, features and best practice configuration, while your customers have access to the latest documentation and support.
