CDEC’s founder selected to speak at a leading AV conference

CDEC’s founder and owner, Andy Duckworth, will be discussing his AV expertise within the education sector at a leading conference this September.

InstallMarket, to be held at the Business Design Centre, London, will bring together a full conference programme covering a number of key verticals in the AV world, along with an exhibition marketplace for sponsors to showcase their products.

Andy has been asked to take the stage as a panel member for the education session, which will explore how technologies are changing the sector. Panel members will address the intersection between video and mobile, lecture capture, BYOD, and campus digital signage.

The invitation for Andy to be involved at the event follows CDEC being presented with both the Star Product Award and Best Project Award at the InstallAwards 2014 last month, for our groundbreaking AV installation at Phoenix Academy, Telford.

Andy said:   “It is an honour to be asked to be involved and be seen as a leader within the educational AV field. I am incredibly passionate about the quality of AV products and installations within educational establishments, which is reflected in CDEC’s work over the last 12 years. It is the company’s ethos to take a collaborative approach with our clients and I believe that my input at this conference will go the extra mile in engaging with customers and potential customers. I hope to give an insight into the future of the AV world within education and what the benefits are for their young people.”

InstallMarket will take place on 4th September 2014 and will primarily be attended by systems integrators, end users, architects, facilities managers and consultants.
