The free, education-focused event will be held in Coventry on 7th June
CDEC and Warwickshire ICT are hosting an education-focused Technology Showcase on Thursday 7 June at the Village Hotel in Coventry. The event is designed to showcase the most innovative classroom technologies from leading brands as well as introducing thought-proving speakers in a number of seminar sessions.
Speakers include Ashley Helm, who heads up the Education team at Clevertouch. His session ‘The Ultimate Lesson’ will focus on how Clevertouch solutions can help to create engaging experiences for students. It will consider how to utilise mobile devices to allow access for everyone and look at using a school’s existing resources to retain some continuity if they move to Clevertouch. Helen Kenniff of Sedao Digital Signage will then look at ‘Future-proofing School Communications in the Digital World’, which will consider how deploying complete integrated solutions can future-proof digital communications in your school across public, learning and staff environments. In addition to this, 2Simple’s Katie Hart will offer a whistle-stop tour of Purple Mash resources in ‘Getting Digitally Messy with Purple Mash’, and Justin Smith, Managing Director of Chameleon Training and Consultancy, will discuss ‘Income Generation – Innovative Ways to Fund your Projects’.
In addition to this, 17 vendors, including Harman, Kramer, NEC, Smart and Promethean, will be showcasing the latest classroom and hall solutions for your school.
The day will end with a prize draw, with a range of fantastic prizes up for grabs; all schools that attend will automatically be entered into the draw and £5,000-worth of prizes are up for grabs.
