We are delighted to announce that we have been unveiled on the shortlist at one of our industry’s most prestigious awards ceremonies, The AV Awards 2015.
We have been highlighted as a contender for the Reseller Integrator of the Year category, which is an excellent achievement having won this award for the last two years running. The announcement follows on from a robust judging process that took place last week at the landmark Barclays HQ building, Canary Wharf.
We are also finalists in the Education Project category for our work on the £2.5m Leicester BSF project for which we recently picked up a trophy at global ceremony, The Installation Awards. (link to Install win news)
The AV Awards ceremony will take place on 25th September at The Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane to celebrate excellence and achievements across the AV industry. The event will see over a thousand key people in attendance and is renowned as a highlight of the industry calendar.
CDEC’s managing director, Toni Barnett, said: “As the reigning champion of the highly coveted Reseller of the Year Award for 2013 and 2014, we are delighted to have made it to the finals again this year so as to defend our title as the top company of our kind within the UK.
Winning for a third year running would be a remarkable achievement and simply being repeatedly recognised in this way highlights us as industry leaders which is something we have worked incredibly hard to achieve. We have continued to evolve the business since last year’s ceremony and hopefully impressed judges with our latest developments.
Receiving further recognition for our specialist education work is also a huge achievement. The Leicester BSF project was an incredibly challenging project but very rewarding in terms of end results and innovation, including the UK’s first LED video wall in a school theatre setting.
As always in times of positive recognition, we would like to thank all involved our success to date; our valued customers, our dedicated staff, and our exceptional industry partners.”
CDEC is also proud to sponsor the Manufacturer of the Year Award and would like to extend our congratulations to Crestron, Daktronics, Kramer Electronics (UK) Ltd, Meyer Sound Laboratories, Inc, NEC Display Solutions, Peerless-AV, Sahara Presentation Systems plc and Samsung UK for being shortlisted in this category.
