If you have had a BECTA Specification projector installed then it is likely to be coming out of warranty. Once out of warranty, you will not have access to free lamps if it fails (lamps can be as expensive as £300 and you need to check the warranty on the lamps—it could only be 90 days) and your projector will no longer be repaired free of charge.

After speaking to a number of Educationalists, CDEC have developed a Managed Service for ANY Projector. This will give you peace of mind that the projectors in your school will be permanently managed.

What is the CDEC offering ?

  • A brand new BECTA Specification Hitachi Projector
  • Preventative Maintenance Visits from our engineers during the year
  • A swap out projector (our engineers will re-install / de-install the projector) and swap out lamps.
  • CDEC will do all the work and maintain the projector for you.
  • If we remove an old projector from your establishment we can also look at recycling the units.

How much will it Cost ?

Purchase 6 or more at £200 per year for three years or 3-5 projectors at £225 per year or 1-2 projectors at £250 per year. (Subject to site survey—there may be an initial extra cost if the focal distance is different from our Hitachi BECTA Projectors).
